My name is Rachel. I am 44, married with 2 boys aged 22 & 16 I used to own my own accounts company - but lost my passion for accounts due to a few clients not paying as quickly as they should ..... plus so many new rules and regulations. I had been running my own limited company for over 14 years - it was time for a new challenge.

Before I had my eldest I was a senior care assistant, but didn't want to go back to working shifts. I was lucky enough not to work for the first 4 years of his life, but did re-train in accounts as I knew I wanted to be self-employed - leaving my family as a priority.

This gave me the opportunity to do what I wanted to do with my life.

I had at that time been with Avon for 8 years and loooovvvvveeed it!!! I took over from a neighbour who left due to ill health - I bought Avon so wasn't really a problem. She gave me her 4 customers - I now serve well over 200 now. I love serving my customers on a 3 weekly basis and finding that my customers were almost an extended family. I had already taken the opportunity and became a Sales Leader - which meant I would recruit and train reps - (I teach and train new reps - exactly what I was doing on how to run an Avon business). I had been doing this, on and off for 3 years whilst running my accounts company, I closed down doing accounts and work full-time recruiting and building my business with Avon.
